Silken Gold

Yuri Ichihashi captures this beauty and sensuousness in jewelry designs, hand woven of 18kt gold threads spun as fine as delicate silk. To produce this extraordinary “silken gold”, Yuri assembled an atelier of master craftspeople, and trained them in intricately patterned silk-weaving techniques – still practiced in Japan today, yet so ancient that their origins are lost in the mists of time. Each piece of jewelry is a personal work of hands, made with the utmost finesse and dedication.

Fresh And Exciting

In 1991, Yuri established her own company and production facilities, presenting the Yuri Ichihashi Collection exclusively. Her self-imposed challenge: “to bring something fresh and exciting to the great European and American tradition of jewelry design – classic, yet with a special influence of Japanese culture.”

While Ichihashi’s techniques are old, the effect is far from traditional.
